This spring was long and cold, but in May we had a couple of days of nice weather, so I shed my jackets and sweaters and I donned my cropped leggings to enjoy the sunshine. I love how the colour palette of this outfit is so summery, while being different from anything I’ve worn before, all thanks to this adorable mini skirt. NAVY FLORAL MINI SKIRT I absolutely adore this skirt, for several reasons. First, it is a lightweight rayon material, which I love in the warmer months. Second, it has a very stretchy smocked waistband, so it fits super comfortably. And third, the print on it is just darling. I love all things floral, pretty much, and this tiny print is too cute. If you are anything like me, then you probably spend a lot of time looking at clothing online. And you have probably impulse bought something cute, only to wear it once and then forget about it in your wardrobe because it doesn’t really go with anything else you own. Yeah, I’ve been there. My frivolous shopping has diminished significantly within the past year as I’ve refined my style and stopped buying things just because they are cute and cheap. (Don’t get me wrong, I still almost exclusively shop sales or with coupons, but I’m much more discerning about what I buy than I used to be.) In doing so, I tend to make mental notes of items that I like, so I can consider buying them when they go on sale.
